I'm Samira, born and raised in Hamburg; although a part within me has always yearned to get to know my other mysterious home aka Iran, I decided to escape into the opposite direction and landed in the middle of Oxford Street and with that the chaos of London city for the last few years. Now I am peacefully living between the UK and Germany.
I have loved creating stories since I can remember, whether through performance, writing or creating little film or photoshoots. Although these artsy projects from back then will probably never see the light of day - thank god - I have taken my passion into my work and continue to strive towards telling stories that built bridges between people and communities.

I received the DYCP - Develop Your Creative Practice - grant from the Arts Council London in 2023. As part of the project I wrote a play called “Lalehha Bidaran” (Tulips Awaken) following a young Iranian girl amidst the 2022 Woman-Life-Freedom protests. During this time I also attended a Playwriting Course at The Central School of Speech and Drama & the Writing for Theatre course led by Abi Falase, as well as the Producing for Theatre course led by Ellie Keel at the National Theatre in London.
